Live Performance, Féile Aon Scéal, Baile an Sceilg, Ciarraí, Eíre

During this performance, attendees were invited to join me in shared trance meditation. We faced the ocean and chanted the word ‘Am,’ the first word of each line of Amergin’s Song. Amergin’s Song is an invocation from irish mythology, spoken by the druid Amergin of the Milesians, the people from Galicia who landed at Bá Baile an Sceilg.

After the meditation, we drew any visions we had experienced during it in the sand using sticks, creating a collaborative temporary installation on the beach.
